Boys’ and Girls’ Groups
Boys’ and Girls’ Groups are a weekly interpersonal skill-building program for court-involved youth. Youth learn skills in conflict resolution, moral reasoning, anger control, and social interaction. Groups last three hours and meet for 10 weeks.
Groups follow the evidence-based the Aggression Replacement Training model, which is endorsed by the federal Department of Justice and the federal Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention for reducing juvenile recidivism and decreasing problem behavior.
Referrals are accepted only from Henderson County court counselors and judges. Please contact Jack Carpenter at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
